We are looking for an INTERNATIONAL PRODUCT MANAGER.

The role of the International Product Manager is crucial in driving the O’Neill brand from a consumer, brand and product perspective across our geographies and licensees.

The job/role
Product Development, Management and Merchandising Support for the Americas (excl. USA) and Asia regions in cooperation with O’Neill Europe.

In this role you are the "Go To" person and expert for the O’Neill products under territory licensing. You will ensure Licensees are driving and aligned & global point of view on O’Neill product, assortments, positioning, quality, sourcing etc. and elevating that point of view through locally relevant product offerings that complement the Global Product direction. You will be trained and assisted by the General Manager Americas and General Manager Asia.

Responsibilities you will have are:

  • Be the primary contact for Product with the country licensees to maximize business opportunities;
  • Help build product strategies per market, ensure category/channel portfolio coverage using planning/oversight tools;
  • Ensure flow of product information and designs to licensees from the global product lines (Europe and US collections);
  • Drive seasonal approvals of licensees’ product line plans, assortments and collections
  • Ensure countries and product licensees address lead key product and brand stories;
  • Coordinate sample and bulk orders and encourage cross-countries/regional product synergies. (e.g. LATAM, Asia);
  • Oversight of sourcing options, quality and compliance approvals across the regions licensees manufacturers;
  • Support the GMs with monthly and quarterly updates, and the yearly budgets meetings;
  • Close alignment with O'Neill Europe Product and Marketing teams, to tap into the expertise and assets needed;
  • Periodical market visits to support local partners and learn competitive, customer and consumer trends;
    Countries covered: All existing licensee markets except for the US. Plus oversight of global 3rd party Eyewear licensee.

Who are you?

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the Sport & Fashion industry;
  • Product Management and Merchandising experience;
  • Licensing and commercial experience is an advantage;
  • Ability to travel;
  • Fluency in computer, Office programs and tools;
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written), Spanish and other languages a plus;
  • Good communication skills and a strong ability to self-manage;
  • Ability to work cross functionally and often in ambiguous circumstances.
