Online Merchandising/Ecommerce internship

We’re looking for an Intern that lives and breathes the surf and snow lifestyle ready for the challenge of working with the world’s first surf company.

The role:

During this internship you will be part of the e-Commerce team, which is responsible for all ONeill.com websites in Europe. You will gain experience with range of aspects in the field of ecommerce and of online merchandising, so the role has operational, analytical and creative aspects. The team that you will be assisting is young and dynamic, furthermore there is the opportunity to interact with other O’Neill departments such as Retail and Marketing. As an intern, you will develop a foundation for your future professional development and will learn to work with a range of aspects in the above field.

Your responsibilities:

• Assist in various day-to-day website merchandising duties, such as launching digital campaigns, setting up promotions and building landing pages;
• Execute onsite search and external search (SEO) optimization techniques;
• Support with the online campaign planning, briefing and execution (in collaboration with the Marketing team);
• Reporting and benchmark analysis;
• Actively support in the further development of the ONeill.com websites by sharing your ideas

Profile Description:

• You are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a focus on Ecommerce, Communications or Business Administration;
• Fluent in English, spoken and written. German, Dutch, French knowledge is a plus;
• Well-organized, with excellent attention to detail;
• Strong analytical skills with ability to measure performance.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint);
• Knowledge of content management systems, HTML & CSS is a plus;
• Ability to work autonomously
• Start date: summer 2023
