IT Manager

We are seeking a hands on and proactive team player to lead our IT team. You will be responsible for our IT architecture and infrastructure to ensure the day-to-day business and making our company ready for tomorrow’s requirements (e-commerce infrastructure, EDI/customer interfacing
infrastructure and operations BI/ data infrastructure). You will report directly to our CFO/COO.
Key accountabilities:
Develops the IT strategy and manages the execution of the IT strategy and operational plans, such that:
- The IT strategy and operational plans fits the strategic vision of O’Neill;
- Building an efficient and robust IT platform to run business processes efficient and effectively;
- Compliance to regulations is ensured;
- The IT strategy and operational plans are realized in a timely manner;
- IT investments and budgets are determined and managed correctly.
Initiates and advices on IT innovation, such that:
- IT changes that aim at increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes are provided;
- Internal and external maintenance of the technical and functional infrastructure is well organized;
- Knowledge of the latest ICT developments is current.
Maintains the high service level of the department, such that:
- Problems, claims and complaints are solved in an early stadium;
- The organization is well informed about relevant IT related issues;
- Train the Key user organization to secure system- and process knowledge in the organization;
- The Intern service level agreements are determined and well managed.
Manages the employees of the IT department, such that:
- Result oriented goals with each team member is made, performance is monitored and if needed adjusted;
- Employees are facilitated and coached in their development;
- Systems, procedures and processes are organized in such a manner to enhance the performance objectives and safeguard protection of data (including privacy).
Ensures the security of data and privacy, such that:
- Security protocols and disaster recovery systems to mitigate breaches to the integrity of data resources within the organization are set up;
- Security of information technology assets, data, network access and backup systems are ensured;
- Security risk and vulnerability assessments for defined business applications or IT installations are conducted;
- Fulfillment of legal and contractual information security is ensured.
Who are you?
- Bachelor degree;
- 7-10 years of management experience in a (international) IT environment;
- Experience with project management;
- Knowledge of ICT processes and ICT maintenance;
- Experience in Retail, Fashion and/or Online business;
- Good level of Dutch and English communication skills.
