We are looking for a Store Manager for our store in Amsterdam The Style Outlets (Sugar City)

As Store Manager you are responsible for the overall result of your store. With your great interest in the O'Neill lifestyle, you want to share your enthusiasm for the brand and your passion to the customer. You will contribute to all activities on the shop floor and coach and inspire your team. With your knowledge of customer service and your commercial drive, you know how to achieve your daily targets and customer loyalty. Knowing how to motivate and inspire your staff, you create an optimal atmosphere in the workplace.

Key accountabilities

Manages the people in the store, such that:

  • Result oriented goals with staff members are made and performance is monitored and reviewed;
  • Staff members are facilitated and coached in their development;
  • An ideal work environment is created within the store;
  • The staff is trained and motivated to accelerate in: store performance, in-store operation and excellent customer service;
  • The staff is provided with relevant information;
  • The right staff is recruited and hired.

Manages the daily operational business in the store, such that:

  • Store targets based on store budgets, turn over,  budget hours, store costs are monitored and achieved according to KPI’s (conversion, units per transaction, sales per transaction) and if needed action is taken;
  • Store guidelines and procedures are followed and optimized;
  • Administrative processes are executed correctly;
  • Relevant information is provided to the District Manager;
  • Financial records are maintained and financial duties are executed;
  • A correct execution of the visual merchandise guidelines standards (window and in store) are monitored and ensured;
  • Local marketing activities are explored and store KPI’s are optimized;
  • Health and safety procedures and guidelines are monitored and up to date.

Do you have 
2-5 years of experience in a service-oriented environment and are you looking for a managerial position with room for growth and development? And do you also have: 

Good communication skills in English;  

  • The ability to manage and motivate staff;  
  • Passion for, and interest in the O'Neill lifestyle;  
  • Customer and commercial focus.
